A job fair was held yesterday in Shanghai for Chinese students who studied at universities in the UK, America and Canada. A total of 31 large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises and 30 transnational corporations, including Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, the AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co, SAIC Motor, PWC, Exxon Mobile and JP Morgan, showed up at the fair held in the Huangting Hotel. The event, the 10th of its kind, attracted more than 700 doctoral and master’s students, as well as undergraduates, from schools such as University of Cambridge, the London School of Economics and Political Science, MIT and Harvard University. They hold degrees in accounting, financing and bio-science, among other subjects.
