Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong led his delegation to visit Macau from August 21 to 22. During his visit, Ying met Fernando Chui, chief executive of the Macau Special Administrative Region, and presided over the signing ceremony of Shanghai-Macau cooperation agreement. He also inspected Macau’s urban planning and preservation of historical sites and constructions jointly built by Shanghai and Macau. Shanghai and Macau have had frequent exchanges and cooperation and have achieved great results. Shanghai and Macau have signed the memorandum to co-host the Shanghai-Macau Cooperation Year；the memorandum of carrying out cooperation in the convention and exhibition industry; the cooperation memorandum of deepening the financial cooperation between Shanghai and Macau; and the cooperation memorandum of the regional youth exchanges between Shanghai and Macau.
