Li said as China’s biggest economic center, Shanghai is the first city that the world’s famous brands will choose when branching into the Chinese markets. Currently, Shanghai is building its brands such as “Shanghai Service,” “Shanghai Manufacturing,” “Shanghai Shopping” and “Shanghai Culture.” The city is accelerating the process of building itself into an international consumer city and it supports aggregation and development of its health and cosmetics industries. This year, Shanghai has introduced the 100 measures to further open up, which will expand the non-special use cosmetics products into the whole city’s markets and promote and expand the international cosmetics trading platform. Shanghai hopes that foreign companies operating in the city will increase their investment and choose Shanghai as their launching place of their health products and cosmetics technological research, new products and new brands to share the huge Chinese market dividends.
