The Sino-French Surgery School of Shanghai was established at Renji Hospital on Monday. It is the first such school offering professional training for new surgeons by specialists from China and France, as well as recruiting trainees not only from Shanghai and other regions in China but also French-speaking regions and countries in Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe, officials said. A total of six leading medical schools and universities in France have partnered with Renji Hospital to set up the school, offering clinical training, new technology education and medical simulation.
