App streamlines public services for Shanghai residents 2019-02-02
The mobile terminal of Shanghai's one-stop platform of government affairs, which offers residents online access to more than 1,000 public services, was officially named on Friday and has more than 10 million users, the city government announced.
The app was named Suishenban Citizen Cloud, which means services can be handled anywhere, with shen symbolizing Shanghai, and the city's one-stop platform of government affairs includes 1,274 public services covering birth and marriage, culture and education, tourism, social security, transportation, medical treatment and health, plus legal services and senior care.
Detailed items include marriage reservations, medical treatment payment, tax services, real-time traffic conditions, pension inquiries, weather forecasts, traffic violation inquiries, hospital registration, legal mediation applications and tourism complaints.
