Learning website offering online classes 2020-02-04
Shanghai’s lifelong learning website (www.shlll.net) launched a wealth of online classes on Monday for people who want to learn something when staying at home during the novel coronavirus outbreak.
The resources include open online courses for senior citizens on topics ranging from cooking and painting to making coffee and cocktails, and dietary and folk culture, such as the 24 solar terms in China, as well as physical exercises including ba duan jin, or eight-trigram boxing.
There are also classes provided by community colleges, such as pen drawing, calligraphy, food security and parenting.
