Five new imported novel coronavirus cases were reported in the city on Thursday, while one imported patient from the UK was discharged from hospital upon recovery, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Friday morning. The newly diagnosed patients are all Pakistani diplomatic personnel and their relatives on the same plane with them were confirmed infection the previous day. The new patients have been transferred to the designated hospital for treatment, while 55 close contacts on the same plane with them have been tracked down and put under quarantine and observation.
