The 22nd China International Industry Fair (CIIF2020) will run from September 15 to 19 this year at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai). This year's fair responds to trends in the manufacturing industry through the theme of “Intelligence, Interconnection – Empowering New Development of Industry." More than 2,000 exhibitors are registered for the event, 80 percent of them domestic enterprises. The exhibition area of 245,000 square meters is little smaller than last year’s due to the pandemic, according to the Shanghai Commission of Economy and Informatization. CIIF 2020 comprises nine theme shows, and this year will launch an online CIIF to attract more visitors by using virtual technology and 5G livestreaming.
