500MB free mobile data 2014-10-24
A TOTAL of 300,000 Shanghai residents will each receive 500 megabytes of free mobile data next month, to help promote Shanghai’s smart city initiatives.
Leading carriers, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom will each give 100,000 users 500MB traffic for one month, said local industry regulator the Shanghai Commission of Economy and Information Technology Development.
China Mobile, the world’s biggest mobile carrier, has invited users to download and submit an entry form. Recipients will be chosen through a lucky draw.
