Roads to close for runners 2014-10-29
ROADS across the city will be closed from 7:30am to 1:30pm on Sunday as the city hosts the 2014 Shanghai International Marathon, police said yesterday.
As well as the main route — details of which can be found at www.shanghaidaily.com — several other roads, and two ferry services, will be closed prior to the event’s start, police said.
Yan’an Road E. will be unavailable from 7am to 7:45am, while Zhongshan Road E1, Dianchi Road, Beijing Road E., Nanjing Road E. and Nansuzhou Road will all be closed from 5:30am to 7:30am.
