Jinshan seeks plans for coastal city sub-center 2014-12-09
JINSHAN District government plans to develop its coastline into a city sub-center with office buildings, tourism spots and cultural venues, the district’s urban planning body announced yesterday.
The district, the most southwest region of Shanghai at Hangzhou Bay, will mainly focus on developing the 7.2 kilometers of shoreline beside the Jinshan Railway Station hub, the Jinshan planning and land authority said.
The district government yesterday invited interested parties from around the globe to submit their plans to develop one of the city’s most outlying areas into a major service provider center in the Yangtze River Delta region.
