Wi-Fi comes as standard in Dazhong’s new Touran cabs 2015-02-15
SHANGHAI Dazhong Taxi Co, one of the city’s big four cab firms, yesterday added 20 Volkswagen Tourans to its fleet. The new vehicles, which have a pale blue livery, are the first of 1,000 the company plans to add this year as replacements for its VW Santana models.
Each of the cabs has a phone charging point and free Wi-Fi. The flag-down rate is the same as for all other regular taxis in the city, at 14 yuan (US$2.24) during the day and 18 yuan after 11pm.
